Ingredients:
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- Sea salt, for garnish
- Whipped cream, for serving optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425F 220C
Grease ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and butter together
Stir until smooth
In another bowl, whisk together flour and powdered sugar
Add eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract to the flour mixture
Mix well
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture
Fold until combined
Divide the batter among the prepared ramekins
Place a spoonful of salted caramel sauce in the center of each
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still soft
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute
Run a knife around the edges and invert onto serving plates
Sprinkle with sea salt and drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce
Serve with whipped cream if desired
