These Clean Almond Joy Bars are a healthier and vegan-friendly version of the classic candy bars. Made with wholesome ingredients like almond flour, coconut, and dairy-free chocolate, they are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without any guilt.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions:

Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up

Put almond flour, coconut flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and almond extract in a bowl

Mix well until a dough comes together

Smooth the dough out in an 8x8-inch baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper

After the oven is hot, bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit

Shred coconut and melt one tablespoon of coconut oil together in a small bowl

Spread the mixture of shredded coconut out evenly over the crust that has been baked

To make the chocolate smooth, melt dairy-free chocolate chips in a bowl that can go in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time

Pour the melted chocolate over the layer of coconut flakes

The chocolate should have almonds sliced on top of it

To set, put the baking dish in the fridge for at least an hour

Cut into bars and enjoy once its done
