These Green Goddess Turkey Burgers are a tasty and healthy take on regular burgers. They taste great and are good for you because they are full of fresh herbs and Greek yogurt. Great for a quick dinner during the week or a barbecue on the weekend.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and avocado for topping

Instructions:

Put green onions, parsley, basil, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Add the ground turkey and mix it all together

Mix the ingredients together well until they are all evenly mixed in

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up the grill or pan on the stove to medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface to keep food from sticking

They should be cooked on the grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have nice grill marks

Put the whole wheat burger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little crispy

Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun

Then add the turkey burger patty, tomato slices, and avocado slices

Add the other half of the bun on top, and if needed, use a toothpick to hold it in place

Warm up your Green Goddess Turkey Burgers and feast on them
