This recipe for Easy Grilled Chicken With Citrus Marinade uses the sour flavors of fresh orange and lemon juice along with fragrant spices to make a tasty and tender grilled chicken. Great for a quick and tasty barbecue
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Add olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper to a bowl
Whisk in the orange juice and lemon juice
Pour half of the marinade over the chicken breasts in a plastic bag that can be closed again
Put the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or better yet, overnight, for the best flavor
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Take the chicken out of the marinade and let the extra oil drip off
Grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has nice grill marks
For extra flavor, baste the chicken with the marinade you saved while its cooking on the grill
After cooking, give the chicken a moment to rest before you serve it
Enjoy the chicken that you grilled with your favorite sides
